Rob49 will begin his first solo headlining tour this October, performing across cities including Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Toronto, Chicago, and Denver. The “Let Me Fly” tour will wrap up in Houston at the end of November.
This marks a major step for the New Orleans rapper following the success of his March single “WTHELLY.” The viral hit exceeded expectations. “The only thing I wanted out of ‘WTHELLY’ was to change the culture,” Rob49 told The FADER. “But it wind up being bigger than that forreal.”
In May, he released his latest album Let Me Fly, featuring Sexyy Red, Cardi B, Lil Wayne, and others. The project was later expanded with a deluxe edition while he was on the WHAM tour.
“This tour is for the fans who’ve been rocking with me since day one,” Rob49 said in a press statement. “It’s been a wild year, and now it’s my turn to bring the party to every city.”
