New Orleans rapper Rob49 has teamed up with Grammy Award winner Cardi B for a fresh track titled “On Dat Money,” which also features an accompanying music video. Released on Friday, July 19th, the song marks a notable collaboration in Rob49’s recent string of projects, including “Homebody” with Moneybagg Yo, BossMan Dlow, and Skilla Baby, and “Wassam Baby” with Lil Wayne.
This release follows Cardi B’s earlier announcement to her fans, Bardigang, that the anticipated follow-up to her 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy, might not arrive this year. Cardi mentioned she was focusing on “relaxing” and enjoying her summer.
Meanwhile, Cardi B is preparing to release her sophomore album, as confirmed via Twitter on Thursday, July 18th. “I have my good days and my bad days, but you know what, whether it’s good or bad, I couldn’t be happier with the obvious anticipation for my album,” she tweeted.
