Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their third child together, a daughter.
The singer and entrepreneur announced the news on Wednesday (September 24), sharing a photo on Instagram of herself holding the newborn alongside a pair of pink boxing gloves. She revealed the child’s name and birthday in the caption: “Rocki Irish Mayers. Sept 13 2025 [pink bow emoji].” The name closely mirrors her father’s, with a single letter difference.
Rocky added his own comment under the post, writing: “MY LIL LADIES [love heart emoji].”
Messages of congratulations poured in from fans and celebrities. Busta Rhymes wrote, “Congratulations Empress @badgalriri,” while Taraji P. Henson commented, “I told you at the MET it was a girl!!!!! AUNTIE WAS RIGHT!!!!! Congrats!!!!” Nicki Minaj also responded with celebratory emojis.
This marks the couple’s third child together. Their first son, RZA, named after the Wu-Tang Clan member, was born in 2022. Their second son, Riot, arrived the following year in 2023.
Rihanna has spoken openly about her perspective on motherhood. In a 2023 Vogue interview, she described the experience as transformative: “It’s legendary. You really don’t remember life before… you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because it doesn’t matter.”
