Rick Ross has reunited with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams for a new single titled “For The Money,” set for release on Friday, June 27. A teaser clip for the track shows Ross and Pharrell in tailored suits, roaming through Paris as the song plays in the background.
In a video preview, Ross described the track as “elegant” and “international,” crediting Pharrell for the production. “We shot the video in Paris,” he said. “This right here is different… a new level of creativity.” He added that the song marks another milestone in his catalog, calling it a “guarantee” of his legacy.
Ross and Pharrell previously worked together on “Presidential” from God Forgives, I Don’t, The Neptunes’ “Get Down,” and “MMG The World Is Ours” from Rich Forever. This latest track marks Ross’ return to music after a quieter period focused on business ventures and public feuds.
Among those ventures is a dental clinic Ross opened in Atlanta with his dentist, Dr. Mario Montoya.
