Dave East, who has observed how having more money may lead to greater troubles, speaks extensively about these problems in his new song, “Rich Problems.”
The song’s video, which was shot entirely in Abu Dhabi, features the Harlem rapper lounging around in traditional Muslim dress in the stunning capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The music hears East go reflective as he raps about how celebrity and glamour have tried to corrupt him over the years, despite this lovely backdrop and his clear success.

Only a few months have passed since Dave East released the deluxe edition of his DJ Drama/Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Book of David.
East, together with Jim Jones, Fabolous, and Maino, stated in April that they are now working on a joint album dubbed Fit Lit, which is inspired by their love of the gym. It is unclear, however, whether “Rich Problems” is the first single off a new upcoming album.
Last year, the group released a song with the same name, and in an interview with the Amazing AllHipHop Podcast, Maino discussed preparations for the collaboration.
Maino teased, “I’m going to tell you some private things that I’ve never talked about. “Me, Jim, Fabolous, and Dave East are working on an album that is, I’d guess, 85% complete. Fit Lit – we’re here because we’re exercising. That describes our tiny Fit Lit Club. We received some heat.
Additionally, Dave East recently collaborated with Tutxtut for the April release of TRAP MIAMI II (Side-A). Additionally, Dave East can be heard on Lloyd Banks’ most recent album, The Course of the Inevitable 3: Pieces of My Pain.
