Realestk, a Toronto-based R&B singer, added to his mystique today with the release of his debut album Dreams 2 Reality.
The mysterious crooner, who bills himself as “Toronto’s Secret” on his social media, methodically delves deeper into his mythos while narrating sensitive moments and wasted opportunities across the album’s 14 songs.
Realestk wrote a brief message on Instagram thanking his teammates, his peers, and his understanding fans.
With no features, Dreams 2 Reality serves as a short introduction to Realestk’s world.
In 2021, when Realestk had a song become viral on TikTok, many famous personalities from Toronto reached out to him.
In an interview from earlier this year with Complex Canada, he said, “Every label was at my neck. “You had artists like Drake hit me up, his producers, and then you had people that were managing The Weeknd hit me up, and I was just like, ‘What’s going on? ’”
Realestk played their song “Lost Me” off their album Demons Protected By Angels at one of fellow Toronto rapper Nav’s gigs in September.
