Real Dinero Talks Music, Independence, and Upcoming Projects on Skipping Class.

Real Dinero joined Laala Shephard on a new episode of Skipping Class, presented by the Progress Report, to discuss his journey as an artist, his inspirations, and upcoming projects.

Hailing from Cuthbert, GA, a small town about three hours from Atlanta, Real Dinero described growing up in a close-knit community with limited resources but a strong sense of local culture. He reflected on how moving closer to Atlanta offered more opportunities and connections in the music industry.

Influenced by artists like Boosie, Webbie, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka, Real Dinero shared how these early inspirations shaped his decision to pursue music seriously. He also spoke about his previous experience with a major label, explaining that while he gained valuable experience and funding, he ultimately chose to release music independently to maintain creative control.

His latest project, “Anger Management,” serves as a personal outlet, allowing him to channel emotions into music. He described the process as recording over twenty tracks and carefully selecting the strongest ones for release, aiming for authenticity and connection with his fans.

Looking ahead, Real Dinero teased collaborations with producers such as Mr. Hanky, as well as performances at college events and other major shows. He emphasized the importance of surrounding himself with a strong team through his NSL (National Street League) label, which he described as a tight-knit collective working toward shared goals.

On the topic of progress, Real Dinero defined it as “doing what you need to do to get the business handled,” a principle he applies both to his music and personal growth. For fans, he promised more releases and projects coming soon, signaling a continued focus on building his career independently while staying connected to his roots.
