In his interview on ‘Talk of The Town Show’, Harlem rapper R2RMOE is reshaping drill music with a sound he calls “Angelic Drill,” a style blending the hard-hitting energy of drill with emotional, introspective themes. As part of the “R2 All” movement, which stands for “Road to Riches,” R2RMOE is gaining fans for his relatable, therapeutic lyrics.
Fresh off his recent release, R2RMOE is already working on a new project from scratch, collaborating with his producer and executive producer Eddie. His creative process is deeply personal, with each song carefully chosen to reflect his experiences.
Collaborations have been a key part of his journey. He’s worked with UK grime legend Skepta and has his sights set on working with ASAP Mob, paying homage to his Harlem roots. Navigating fame hasn’t been easy, with new pressures and expectations. A past heartbreak also played a major role in shaping his music, driving his introspective approach.
Harlem remains a strong influence on his sound. “Harlem raised me, gave me that edge and that culture,” R2RMOE says, proudly carrying the legacy of his hometown while continuing to carve out his own path in the rap world.
