When Juelz Santana and Queen Latifah had the chance to reenact one of his favorite movie scenes, he couldn’t help but savor the “legendary” experience.
Juelz posted a photo of himself and Queen Latifah on Instagram on February 8 from someplace in New York City. The Dipset member wrote in his caption that he was looking forward to meeting the Queen and acting out one of his favorite scenes from one of her films.
“Who U Calling A ….. Honored To Meet The 1 N Only @queenlatifah not only that I got to re N act 1 of my fav scene from my favorite movie with her WOW,” Juelz wrote. “If U Know U Know… LEGENDARY Couldn’t Let Her Leave Without A Pic #ICFMF #WeInMotion #BackOutSide.”
Juelz didn’t specify which clip he was alluding to, but Queen Latifah has one of the most impressive filmographies in hip-hop. Her portrayal of Cleopatra “Cleo” Simmons in the famous 1996 movie Set It Off, in which she was fatally shot by cops, was one of her most well-liked portrayals.
Juelz Santana is getting ready to release a new album in addition to crossing experiences off his bucket list with luminaries like Queen Latifah. The Harlem native stated in December of last year that he and DJ Drama would be releasing a new Gangsta Grillz mixtape.
