Following their reunion as the Migos at the 2023 BET Awards for a special performance honoring TakeOff, Quavo and Offset appear to have put an end to their feud.
To the pleasure of the fans, the duo performed a combination of Unc & Phew’s “Hotel Lobby” and Migos’ 2016 smash “Bad and Boujee” on Sunday, June 25, within a surprise set at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
A white spotlight was used to honor TakeOff throughout the performance, and then a picture of the late rapper appeared on the screen behind Quavo and Offset.
Lil Uzi Vert, The Sugarhill Gang, Latto, E-40, Trick Daddy, GloRilla, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Ice Spice, Master P, Coi Leray, and numerous others also performed throughout the evening.
After Quavo and Offset got together on what would have been TakeOff’s 29th birthday, the performance takes place a week later.
On June 18, the couple went to an Atlanta candlelight vigil with TakeOff’s friends and family.
“Congratulations, @yrntakeoff! Can’t wait for more days like these,” Quavo exclaimed on Instagram. “BEST believe we are going up the Rocket way all week GEEKD u 29 n-gga.”
Happy birthday, rocket guy,” Offset added. The best to ever hold a microphone! ever-best spirit! The purest man I know, your heart was gold. Bring me peace. I adore you guys. We celebrate your life because you’re still here.
After being seen sitting apart from one another at an NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Portland Trail Blazers in March, Quavo and Offset reunited shortly after.
Quavo announced the dissolution of Migos less than two weeks prior on his solo single “Greatness.”
