Pusha T and his wife, Virginia Thornton, are preparing to welcome their second child. Thornton shared the news on Instagram, posting a carousel featuring photos of her holding her baby bump with the caption, “2nd masterpiece on the way… God is good.”
The couple, who welcomed their first child, Nigel Broxx Thornton, on June 11, 2020, included him in the post. He appears in videos and photos from a recent visit to an art gallery showcasing some of Thornton’s work.
In a 2022 interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Pusha T reflected on legacy following the loss of his parents. “Legacy is everything right now for me,” he said, noting how deeply he wants his son to be proud of his accomplishments. “He’s gonna be able to look at the legacy of his dad and be like, ‘Oh man, he was amazing.’ Because that’s my goal.”
The family news arrives as Pusha T and his brother, Malice, continue a major career moment. The Clipse’s album Let God Sort Em Out has earned five nominations at the 2026 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. In a recent conversation with GQ, both brothers expressed how meaningful a Grammy win would be. “Bringing home that hardware would mean everything,” Pusha said. “We going for it.”
