Voices of Fire, the Virginia gospel choir led by Bishop Ezekiel Williams and produced by Pharrell Williams, will release its new album OPHANIM on September 12. The 13-track project, arriving through Warner Records, features collaborations with Pharrell, John Legend, Tori Kelly, Cee-Lo, Quavo, Teddy Swims, and Zacardi Cortez. Its lead single, “Miracle Worker,” introduced the album, following Pharrell’s earlier production of the choir’s 2023 debut track “Joy (Unspeakable).” The group, also featured in a 2020 Netflix documentary produced by Pharrell, is set to perform selections from the new album during a major live event.
On September 13, Voices of Fire will join Pharrell for Grace for the World, a free concert in Vatican City’s St. Peter’s Square. The performance will be live streamed on Disney+, Hulu, and ABC News Live starting at 3 p.m. ET. The concert marks the first event of its kind in the historic location and will be executive produced by Pharrell’s Something in the Water, Andrea Bocelli, and Nova Sky Stories.
The lineup features Jennifer Hudson, BamBam, John Legend, Karol G, Clipse, Teddy Swims, Jelly Roll, and more, alongside an aerial drone and light show inspired by the Sistine Chapel. The event coincides with the 2025 Jubilee year and serves as the conclusion to the World Meeting on Human Fraternity, a two-day conference centered on cultural and spiritual collaboration.
The concert is free to the public, with entry to St. Peter’s Square beginning at 8 p.m. CEST ahead of a 9 p.m. start.
