PARTYNEXTDOOR Earns First Rhythmic Airplay No. 1 With Drake on “Somebody Loves Me”.

PARTYNEXTDOOR has reached a new milestone on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart. His collaboration with Drake, “Somebody Loves Me,” rises from No. 3 to No. 1 on the chart dated July 5. The track appears on their joint project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, and marks PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first No. 1 on the format.

The song, released via OVO Sound/Santa Anna/Republic, gained 8% more spins at rhythmic radio stations in the U.S. during the week ending June 26, according to Luminate. It was the most-played track across the chart’s monitored panel in that period.

This is PARTYNEXTDOOR’s seventh entry on Rhythmic Airplay. His previous best came with “Believe It” featuring Rihanna, which peaked at No. 6 in 2020. “Somebody Loves Me” also marks the duo’s fourth collaboration to chart:

  • “Come and See Me” (PARTYNEXTDOOR feat. Drake) – No. 21 peak in 2016
  • “Loyal” (PARTYNEXTDOOR feat. Drake) – No. 10 in 2020
  • “Twist & Turn” (Popcaan feat. PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake) – No. 30 in 2020
  • “Somebody Loves Me” (PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake) – No. 1 in 2025

For Drake, this becomes his 41st No. 1 on Rhythmic Airplay, extending his record for the most chart-toppers since the ranking began in 1992. He remains far ahead of Rihanna (17) and The Weeknd (15), who round out the top three.

“Somebody Loves Me” is the third single from $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, but the first to feature both artists. The two earlier releases — “Gimme a Hug” and “Nokia” — were Drake solo efforts. “Gimme a Hug” peaked at No. 4 in May, while “Nokia” held the top spot for two weeks that same month.

In addition to its Rhythmic success, “Somebody Loves Me” holds at No. 6 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, with an 11% increase in plays. It also remains at No. 7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with a 19% boost in audience, totaling 9.2 million listeners.
