Boston artist Oompa took to social media this week to share a two-part post reflecting on the realities of manifestation, creative intention, and personal growth—using an encounter with Nigerian singer Tems as the central reference point.

In the follow-up video, Oompa shared footage of herself working on a beat and spoke more directly about her intention to manifest a feature with Tems. She referred to Tems as her favorite artist and reiterated that the goal was clear, writing:
“The @temsbaby feature was the mission but more importantly I ended up manifesting the kind of energy I want in my life AND a song I love out of all of this energy.”
She ended the post by asking her audience, “Can we really get Tems on this?” and “Can y’all hear @temsbaby on this? Lmk.”—inviting supporters to imagine the collaboration with her.
