Offset On Bet Awards Reunion With Quavo: ‘we The Greatest Group To Ever Touch The Mic’

Following his reunion with Quavo at the 2023 BET Awards, Offset is overflowing with joy for what Migos have accomplished as a unit.

In order to pay tribute to the late TakeOff during the event on Sunday (June 25), the estranged group members set their differences aside. On a Thursday (June 29) Instagram Live, Offset discussed the significant event and referred to Migos as “the greatest group to ever touch the mic.”

The BET performance was legendary, man,” a visibly delighted Set stated. It purified my spirit. Within 16 hours, my brother Qua and I put that together. roughly 15 hours. We arrive from Paris at around nine o’clock and immediately get to work on the show.

Because we have some actual stars, we do that. That is what we do. Our music is our own. We are the best ensemble to ever use a microphone. Godspeed, my brother Take. For my brother Take, we did it.

“Me and Qua stood tall, brother to brother,” he concluded. Understand what I’m saying? And dude, thank you so much for your support. It was a feeling and a movie. That was essential for the culture. Yes, that is how we are approaching! But we finished it in 16 hours! as if they were really experts. genuine experts. went there, stayed awake for 16 hours, and focused on the view. Qua and I got down and focused on the graphics, the location of the stage, the lighting, and everything else as a whole.

“And you know, it’s always gonna be cinematic when you put the three heads together,” There will always be the truth. It will always be Godly. I give God praise for that time. And like I just mentioned, RIP Take. You all are aware of my brother’s situation. We carried it out for Take. And we continue to refuse. Our legacy is that. Migos always. The best crew to ever accomplish it.

To the pleasure of the crowd, the duo surprised the audience by performing a combination of Unc & Phew’s “Hotel Lobby” and Migos’ 2016 smash “Bad and Boujee” inside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. A white spotlight was used to honor TakeOff throughout the performance, and then a picture of the late rapper appeared on the screen behind Quavo and Offset.
