Cardi B’s skills as an MC deserve much more credit than they now receive, says NLE Choppa, who has openly praised her.
The 20-year-old rapper discussed the “Bodak Yellow” phenomenon on Monday (July 31), stating that given how much excellent music she has been releasing, she doesn’t get enough credit.
Cardi B isn’t given enough credit for how she’s been snapping! [face-palm emoji],” he tweeted, highlighting the significance of her efforts.
NLE Choppa has now praised a female rapper twice in the past several weeks. He made it a point to love Sexyy Red early last month in response to the mockery and criticism she had endured since entering the scene.
NLE Choppa remarked in a Twitter video, “Man, I keep seeing the hate that y’all have on my girl Sexyy Red.” “I adore her energy and her songs personally, and I’m simply a genuine supporter and fan. Man, you guys need to stop treating people that way and doing things to them. You won’t always hear something that you’re used to or accustomed to hearing. You need folks like Sexyy Red to strike a balance between serious content and lighthearted material that you may enjoy.
Ya’ll need to quit treating that girl in such a way, he continued. That’s wrong because, at the end of the day, she has a child, is providing for her, is earning money, and is making sure her child is growing up straight. All that matters is that. That girl is unknown to you; you have never met her. I’m just standing up for her since no one else around this muthafucka has been doing the same or providing her this much support.
