Nix Northwest, a young rapper from London, has returned after a brief absence with the jazz-infused tune “Sun In My Eyes,” which is taken from his upcoming debut album, Xin’s Disappearance.
The song provides a glimpse into the life of “Xin,” a fictitious alter persona that Nix portrays throughout the conceptual LP, as the song’s images show the borderland between dreams and reality. Following the release of the well-received EP Life’s A Bitch in 2019 as well as the singles I Just Need An Early Night and a few other sporadic singles, Nix Northwest makes a triumphant comeback.
His work is now more and more influenced by themes of introspection and self-reflection, along with a variety of musical experimentation.
