Nim K Drops Debut Single “Fallen,” Produced by Dame Grease, Off Forthcoming Album.

Peabody, MA native Nim K has officially released her long-anticipated debut single “Fallen,” marking the first offering from her upcoming full-length project. The track, produced by veteran beatmaker Dame Grease, arrived on streaming platforms with a visual component directed by Dame Dame, shot by Shefik, and edited by Xion Era.

Weeks prior to the release, Nim K began building anticipation with a personal message about the meaning behind the record. “‘Fallen’ [is] a song that represents the beauty in the struggle,” she wrote. “I am a woman of God and I truly believe some of our greatest misfortune realigns us with our purpose when we go astray. I stopped asking ‘why’ a long time ago and started looking forward to ‘when.’ When you look at life’s setbacks as protection, you start to take a new lease on the life we are blessed to live. Sometimes we need to get knocked down to know what we are made of.”

Dame Grease, known for his work with DMX, Wiz Khalifa, and French Montana, previewed the release on social media, encouraging listeners to tune in: “If you haven’t heard it yet y’all tripping! @nimboujee New Single F A L L I N.” He also gave a nod to Termanology, who is executive producing Nim K’s debut album under the ST. DA SQUAD imprint.

Following the official release, Nim K shared a performance clip of the track with the caption: “Aww Man! #NewSingleAlert Nim K ‘Fallen’ Out Now On All Platforms!”

“Fallen” signals a formal introduction to Nim K’s evolving artistry. While a release date for the debut album has yet to be announced, the single establishes a reflective tone that may set the direction for what’s to come.
