Nike is releasing a new Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” sneaker this weekend, accompanied by a themed apparel and gear capsule that reflects Kobe Bryant’s appreciation for baseball and his connection to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The full collection will debut exclusively through UNDEFEATED at 8 a.m. PST.
The capsule, titled the Nike Kobe “Game Royal” collection, shares the same blue, red, and white color scheme seen on the new sneaker. Inspired by Dodgers uniforms, the lineup includes a Diamond Elite Catchers Set with shin guards and a chest protector, Alpha Elite Batting Gloves, a Diamond Sliding Mitt, and a Kobe Baseball Jersey.
The jersey stands out with a clean white base, featuring the word “Mamba” in the familiar Dodgers script and color. A red Mamba logo is placed next to it, and the number 8—Bryant’s original jersey number—is displayed in blue on the left sleeve.
All items in the capsule highlight both Nike’s sports design approach and Bryant’s legacy in baseball. The Mamba branding appears throughout the collection as a tribute to the late athlete’s influence beyond basketball.
While the full collection is exclusive to UNDEFEATED at launch, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” sneaker will also receive a wider release on April 13, 2025.
