Vanessa Bryant has revealed the Nike Kobe 9 Elite High Protro “What The” on Instagram. The shoe will release on May 21, 2025, for $300.
Originally released in 2015, the model returns for its 10th anniversary in updated Protro form. It features a high-top Flyknit design and combines colors and patterns from previous Kobe 9 releases.
The Protro version includes performance upgrades such as drop-in React foam replacing Lunarlon and a full-length Zoom Air unit for improved cushioning.
