Nicki Minaj and Sabrina Carpenter appear to be teasing a new collaboration. On August 29, Minaj shared Carpenter’s song “Don’t Worry I’ll Make You My Worry” from her album Man’s Best Friend on her Instagram Story, seemingly showing support for the singer.
Vogue’s Entertainment Director, Sergio Kletnoy, reposted Minaj’s Story and asked, “My girls… [Nicki Minaj and Sabrina Carpenter], collab?” Carpenter responded with “Love affair” and heart emojis, while Minaj replied, “Don’t worry, [Sergio],” with a salute emoji, hinting at the possibility of a joint project.
The collaboration aligns with their recent mutual support. Last year, Carpenter posted “This one’s for Nicki” on X, referencing Minaj’s chart rivalry with Travis Scott in 2018. Minaj acknowledged the shoutout during an Instagram Live, giving Carpenter and her fans recognition. Earlier this year, Minaj also mentioned Carpenter in an interview with Vogue Italia as one of her favorite newer artists, describing her as “a breath of fresh air.”
Separately, Carpenter spoke about the controversial cover of Man’s Best Friend, explaining to CBS Mornings’ Gayle King that her family and friends fully supported the image and felt it suited the album and its message.
