This year, Smino will make a comeback with a new album called S.A.D. 2.
The mixtape, which is scheduled for release on April 20, seems to be a follow-up to 2020’s She Already Decided, which was also published on same day. She Always Dancing is mentioned as a potential title for his future release, even though both projects have the same acronym.
Along with the information, the St. Louis rapper released a freestyle over Beyoncé’s “Me, Myself & I” from her 2003 album, Dangerously in Love, named “Smi, Myself & I” on SoundCloud.
The Film Lord directed the music video for the song, which features Smino rapping on a tour bus and backstage. Ab-Soul also makes an appearance in the film.
She Already Decided wasn’t made available on more popular streaming services, just like “Smi, Myself & I.” The 16-song mixtape, which featured material that had not yet been mastered, was released in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
