New Balance has reimagined its iconic 576 and 1500 models with a premium upgrade. Originally launched in the late ’80s, these classic silhouettes now feature textured European leather in an all-black design, crafted at New Balance’s UK-based Flimby factory.
Part of the “Made in UK” line, the sneakers boast a dress shoe-inspired finish, highlighted by raw-cut leather edges, earning them the nickname “biscuit edge leather.” A gum sole provides subtle contrast to the sleek black upper.
Currently available on New Balance’s UK website, this release celebrates the 1500’s 35th anniversary while giving the 576 a luxe makeover, continuing the brand’s tradition of refined, limited-edition drops.
