New 'age Of Pleasure' Trailer From Janelle Mone Channels Mtv Spring Break

Following the release of a teaser trailer for her new album that was inspired by MTV Spring Break, Janelle Monáe’s record promotion has taken a retro turn.

The Age Of Pleasure album trailer, which looks like it came straight out of an episode of MTV’s Spring Break, was released by the Glass Onion star on Monday (June 5).

The vintage-style video, Pleasure TV, aptly depicts fans having a good time in the sun as they get ready for the album release.

The fourth studio album by the artist is slated to be released on Friday, June 9.

With the aid of some enticing Instagram marketing, Monáe revealed a few weeks ago that she was getting ready to tour in support of her album. The Age Of Pleasure tour is scheduled to begin this fall, according the article.

Monáe left nothing to the imagination, sporting just a pair of shorts with her braids covering her breasts and writing the dates for the upcoming trek.

Monáe then took the pose to the next level by putting her hands inside her shorts. The action appears to be a reference to Jimi Hendrix, who is depicted in another picture in the article and is seen with his hands in his pants in that slide. She also provided a picture of the comparable position taken by the Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk.

The Age Of Pleasure tour will launch on August 30 at WAMU Theater in Seattle, Washington. Major American towns like Portland, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, and others are scheduled to host dates on the North American tour.

The “Tightrope” singer doesn’t seem to be disturbed by some of the criticism she received for the NSFW advertising material for her next album, and really seems to relish flaunting her breasts.

She recently admitted to Rolling Stone that she was “much happier” when her titties were let out and she was free to move around.
