Days after the album’s release, PnB Rock has just been added to A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s new album Me vs. Myself as a result of the addition of a new song.
22 songs from Me vs. Myself, which debuted on Friday (December 9), included artists like Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Tory Lanez, G-Herbo, Roddy Ricch, H.E.R., and Don Q.
With the addition of “Needed That,” which features a posthumous cameo by PnB Rock, the LP expanded to 23 tracks on Sunday (December 11).
The brand-new song, which was created by Niaggi and Ricardo Josias, is currently the album’s lead single on streaming sites.
PnB Rock’s 31st birthday, which would have been on Friday, follows “Needed That.” Although the song wasn’t on the first contemporaneous Me vs. Myself, A Boogie did honor his longtime pal and colleague with a birthday message on Instagram.
“Until we meet again, forever in my heart is where I keep you, friend,” Boogie wrote. “HBD BROSKII @pnbrock.”
On Friday, PnB Rock’s girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang also posted on Instagram to show off a brand-new tattoo on her neck honoring the late rapper with his first name Rakim engraved in script font.
Since then, three people have been detained in connection with the investigation into PnB Rock’s slaying: Freddie Lee Trone, his wife Shauna, and his son, who is accused of robbing and killing the Philadelphia rapper. Trone and his son were each accused of one count of murder, two counts of robbery in the second degree, and one count of robbery conspiracy. Shauna is charged with being an after-the-fact accessory.
A fourth suspect, who may have been crucial in the murder, is still being sought by police
On September 21, a Muslim funeral service was held in PnB Rock’s hometown of Philadelphia as he was laid to rest.
