NBA YoungBoy Sets RIAA Record With Most Platinum Rap Albums Of The Last Decade.

NBA YoungBoy has now earned the most platinum-certified albums of any rapper over the last ten years, according to the RIAA’s latest certification update. He has been recognized with eight platinum albums, including AI Youngboy, Top, Realer, 4Respect 4Freedom 4Loyalty, AI Youngboy 2, Sincerely, Kentrell, Until Death Call My Name, and Still Flexin, Still Steppin. Two of his albums—AI Youngboy 2 and Until Death Call My Name—have reached double platinum status.

YoungBoy debuted in 2015 with Life Before Fame and gained wider attention with projects like 38 Baby and AI Youngboy in 2016 and 2017. His breakout single “Untouchable” marked a turning point in his mainstream appeal. Over time, he’s collaborated with artists such as DaBaby, Birdman, Moneybagg Yo, Rich The Kid, and Quando Rondo.

The accomplishment comes as YoungBoy continues serving a 23-month prison sentence related to federal gun charges. Despite his incarceration, he recently released a new album titled More Leaks. The project blends trap production with introspective content, highlighting his consistency even while facing legal issues.

More Leaks features production from Cheese, Bnyx, F1lthy, Harry Fraud, and London On Da Track. The album’s sound spans energetic rhythms and reflective melodies. Fans and critics have responded positively to the album’s emotional honesty and thematic depth, which explores betrayal, struggle, and survival. YoungBoy’s prolific output continues to maintain his influence in hip-hop, even from behind bars.
