Nas Seemingly Confirms 'Magic 2' With Houdini Teaser

Nas has been teasing something new and appears to have confirmed Magic 2’s existence with a Houdini trailer.

On Monday, July 17, the Queensbridge rap deity added fuel to the fire by sharing a black-and-white clip of Harry Houdini pulling off his famous straight jacket escape on Instagram.

The chief producer of Magic in 2021 was “Houdini,” Hit-Boy said in the comments.

The following message was sent by fans regarding a future Nas and Hit-Boy project: “PLEASE CALL THE ALBUM STILLMAGIC.”

One more said, “Magic is unquestionably one of Nas’ finest albums EVER! I am prepared for this.

On July 13, Nas published a second cryptic teaser that offered little additional information about what was to follow.

Little more than rain and thunder can be heard in the 10-second clip, as a flash of lightning briefly lights the foggy sky to show an image of Nas’ large “N” emblem.

With the comment “dark mode” and the addition of three fire emojis, Hit-Boy, the Grammy-winning producer of Nas’ last four albums, appeared to imply that he might be involved in whatever is forthcoming.

However, a Reddit user known as Exact_Contribution54 who is regarded as a “Nas insider” appeared to have cracked the secret by simply posting “July 21.”

The mystery account responded, “Album [witch emoji, Vol. 2 book emoji], when asked if the date relates to a song or an album.

According to the aforementioned emojis, it’s possible that Nas’ album, Magic, from 2021, will be followed up by the July 21 album.

Given the scant details that have been revealed and the fact that the 9-track project was likewise unexpectedly published with no promotional push, a sequel isn’t really out of the question.

On Christmas Eve 2021, Nas’ 15th studio album, Magic, was released. A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier contributed to the album, which peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200.
