Najee Janey Shares New Collaboration With Reef Ahead of Their Joint EP

Najee Janey has released his latest single, “Can’t Call It,” a collaboration with Reef that arrives alongside its official music video. The track serves as the lead single from the pair’s upcoming joint EP, Trifecta, which is currently accessible through their profiles.

The new release highlights Janey’s ongoing work as an independent artist and reflects his continued collaborations with creatives who share similar artistic focus and direction. The video for “Can’t Call It” was developed with contributions from Nicolerds, who oversaw the visual production and conversion of the concept into its final form. Additional editing was completed by Rayymond.

“Can’t Call It,” produced by Deevodagenius, introduces the direction of Najee Janey and Reef’s collaborative work on Trifecta. The official video is now available on YouTube, and the single offers the first look into what the duo plans to bring with the forthcoming EP.

The EP marks the first full-length collaborative effort between Brockton’s Reef and Roxbury’s Najee Janey. Trifecta is structured as a five-track project with two interludes and features production from DeevoDaGenius, Andrew Regis, and StoopKid. The project brings together the pair’s narrative-driven style and their distinct delivery, supported by production designed to emphasize clarity, rhythm, and structure across the tracklist.

As Janey and Reef prepare for the EP’s rollout, “Can’t Call It” sets the foundation for the sound and approach they aim to explore throughout the project.
