Najee Janey Releases New Album Royalty.

Boston-born artist Najee Janey has officially released his latest album, Royalty, a project he describes as one of his strongest to date. Filled with intention and depth, the record showcases both Janey’s lyrical growth and his vision for pushing his artistry forward.

The album was produced, mixed, and mastered in full by Tony Loyal, whose role Janey credits as central to the project’s sound and cohesion. “The level of mastery and intention that went into this project is on a different level,” Janey shared ahead of release.

Royalty features collaborations with Maye Star, Ephron, Currell, and Sean Wire, each bringing distinct verses and energy. The album also incorporates live instrumentation, including Brandon Volel on horns for “Still Runnin,” RJ Keys on keys for “The War Has Just Begun,” and Marco Marcel on bass for “Peace.”

The closing track, “Peace,” carries a personal dedication. Crafted in collaboration with Chop On Keyz, the song includes a tribute to Janey’s late grandmother, which he described as carrying a “profound and prolific message.”

Visual design played a role in shaping the rollout, with the cover art created by Ether, who expanded on Janey’s original concept to deliver an interpretation that blends creativity with futurism.

Behind the scenes, Gib DJ contributed by engineering the recording of “Don’t Stop,” a track listeners have already singled out as a standout from the album.

The release of Royalty was supported by Najee Janey Enterprises, his management team, who coordinated the album’s videos, listening experiences, and rollout strategy.

Royalty is now available on all major streaming platforms.
