Boston artist Najee Janey has officially released his new album Break Free, the first of two full-length projects he plans to drop this month. The announcement follows a teaser shared three days ago via Instagram, where Janey informed fans of his upcoming dual releases
Now available across all streaming platforms, Break Free is a seven-track project that showcases contributions from a range of collaborators across production, instrumentation, and design.
In his announcement post, the artist reflected on the experience of making the album and expressed gratitude for the many contributors who helped shape its sound. From production and mixing to instrumentation and cover art, Break Free brings together a tightly connected network of artists, producers, and engineers.
Alongside the digital release, Najee Janey shared that a one-track version of the album is also available for direct purchase via Even.biz.
In his post announcing the release, he wrote:

No release date has been shared yet for Janey’s second album, but according to his earlier announcement, it is expected before the end of the month.
