Museum of Poets Brings an Immersive Spoken Word Experience to Rhode Island.

Curated sets, 4K performances, and raw poetry collide May 25 at Selfie Lounge RI.

The Museum of Poets is stepping into Rhode Island with more than just a mic and a stage — it’s bringing a full-on visual and lyrical experience to the heart of Pawtucket.

Going down Sunday, May 25, from 3 to 6 p.m., the event transforms Selfie Lounge RI into an interactive poetry museum, where some of the area’s standout voices will perform inside fully curated set designs. Think immersive backdrops, intentional vibes, and stories told in real time.

The show starts at 4 p.m. sharp, with DJ Pyro handling the sound and Fly Ry (@TheFaceOfCT) guiding the night as host. Guests are encouraged to move freely, capture content, and take in the creative setups between drinks and bites from the bar.

For poets, the opportunity hits differently — anyone locking in a free performance ticket will get their set filmed in 4K, turning a live moment into a lasting one.

Organized by Ryan Hendricks, Museum of Poets has carved a lane for artists to express, connect, and archive their work through both performance and presentation. After its previous stops, the Rhode Island edition looks to elevate the region’s poetic voices in a way that’s equal parts art show and open mic.

Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. To perform or stay in the loop, head to @MuseumOfPoets_ on Instagram.
