Singer-songwriter Miranda Rae is set to unveil her new project Pleasant Street with an evening that blends live music and storytelling. The special event takes place on Wednesday, August 28th at 7 p.m. at 17 Partridge Pl, Roxbury, MA, 02119 (off Dudley Street). Entry is set at $20.
The night will open with the official release of Rae’s new music video “Wings,” directed by Studio.Darby. Immediately following, Rae will present a live performance of Pleasant Street in its entirety, backed by a full band.
Pleasant Street explores themes of vulnerability, resilience, and healing, with a sound rooted in soulful R&B. The project reflects on hardship while tracing a path toward renewal. This event aims to translate that emotional core into a live setting.
By performing the EP with a full band, Rae will bring a new dimension to the music, emphasizing the depth of the songs through live instrumentation and stage presence. The performance is intended to create a space where audiences can connect directly with the stories behind the project.
