Miranda Rae is returning with a new EP. The Boston-based singer announced on Instagram that her next release, titled Pleasant ST, is set to drop on July 18. The three-track project marks her first official release since 2023.
In her post, Rae explained that the EP was shaped by recent life experiences, including personal challenges and internal reflection. “Life hasn’t been the easiest and this project kind of briefly touches [on] life and the internal battle with self and unforeseen obstacles,” she wrote.
Miranda Rae announced that she will host a listening party on July 16, describing it as “something small” but open to anyone who wants to attend. Details about the event, including location and RSVP information, are expected to be shared closer to the date.
The singer also credited collaborators Lucas and Jordan for their support and for encouraging her to explore new creative directions. “Opening my sound to different lanes,” she wrote, noting that the process has helped her focus on consistency and growth.
Visual elements of the project are also in the works. She thanked Mello for helping with visual rollouts, and shared that the EP’s artwork was created in collaboration with visual artist Boogie, calling it a “painting” that “says so much yet so little.”
Pleasant ST which is arriving July 18th, will be Miranda Rae’s first body of work since her last release in 2023.
