Mike Deez Highlights Black-Owned Businesses in Massachusetts.

With February marking Black History Month, many have taken the opportunity to celebrate Black culture, achievements, and contributions to various industries. One of the key ways people show support is by uplifting Black-owned businesses, which play a vital role in local economies and communities.

In a recent post Mike Deez sparked a conversation about the most beloved Black-owned businesses in Massachusetts in his segment of  #QuestionOfTheNight.

He asked the audience: What’s your favorite Black-owned business in the state? In the post, Deez highlighted multiple categories, spanning from restaurants, beauty and skincare, hair salons, barbershops, apparel and boutiques, event planning, craft stores, cleaning services, catering, and daycare centers.

During the discussion, Deez gave a special mention to Silver Slipper, a longstanding restaurant in Boston. He noted that the establishment has been a staple in the city since the 1970s and remains a popular choice among locals.

The conversation underscored the significance of these businesses in shaping the local economy and culture. With many Massachusetts residents eager to highlight their go-to Black-owned establishments, the post served as both a platform for recognition and a call to action for continued community support.
