For the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack Metro Boomin is in charge of, Swae Lee has once again been enlisted. He recently shared a sneak peek of the soon-to-be-released single.
The visualizer, which debuted on the producer’s official YouTube channel on May 31, gives Spider-Man fans a preview of what to anticipate in the upcoming film. With the use of vivid colors and song lyrics, the video depicts Miles Morales and Gwen Stacey’s developing romance.
A Boogie With Da Hoodie, Nav, and other artists will be featured on the song called “Calling.”
“I’d give everything I have only to save you/Swae Lee sings, “I can hear you shouting out calling me/It’s my fault, made you fall for me.
Back in December, Metro Boomin was chosen to be the project’s executive producer.
On June 2, when the eagerly anticipated animated Spider-Man movie hits theaters, fans can anticipate the Spider-Verse soundtrack to be released in its entirety.
It is a follow-up to the critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse from 2018 and follows the saga of Miles Morales, a half-Black, half-Latino kid who has assumed the role of the fabled web-slinger.
Metro had previously teased a different song that will probably be on the movie’s soundtrack. The producer collaborated with Don Toliver on the song “Link Up,” which was uploaded earlier this month.
The little audio snippet was included into an animated Hyundai and Spider-Verse commercial. Metro informed his followers on Twitter after it was published.
“A new Hyundai commercial featuring “Link Up” with @DonToliver debuted today. On June 2, a soundtrack with entirely original songs drawn from the movie will be released. Metro captioned the picture with the hashtag “#Metroverse.”
In addition to Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and Swae Lee. On the project, J.I.D and a few other people are also anticipated to appear. He posted graphic comic book caricatures of his guests on Instagram as part of the Spider-Verse launch.
Everyone will be watching Boominati’s CEO to see if the initiative can live up to the anticipation created by its predecessor. The hit song “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee, which was certified diamond in 2021 and crossed the record books as the joint-highest-certified single in RIAA history last November, was born from the initial Spider-Verse soundtrack.
