Metro Boomin has revealed on X that one of his “lifelong goals” is to produce entrance themes for WWE. The Grammy-winning producer, who made an appearance at WWE’s Bad Blood event last year, expressed his interest publicly: “Would love to produce some WWE entrance themes. It’s a lifelong goal of mine.” WWE has not yet responded. In the past, artists like Three 6 Mafia, Naughty by Nature, and Lil Kim have contributed music to the wrestling franchise.
Meanwhile, Metro’s frequent collaborator Travis Scott has made headlines for his recent involvement in WWE storylines. At WrestleMania 41, Scott interfered in the main event, helping John Cena defeat Cody Rhodes for a record-breaking 17th world title. After pulling the referee out of the ring, Rhodes challenged Scott, only to be hit with his own finishing move, the Cross Rhodes, which set up Cena’s win.
Scott later posted photos from the event on Instagram with the caption: “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.” This referenced his previous WWE appearance in February at Elimination Chamber, where he struck Rhodes hard enough to cause a black eye and a ruptured eardrum.
Rhodes commented on the altercation in a later interview with Complex, saying: “That’s wrestling. Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up… maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.” Despite the tension, Rhodes admitted he was a fan of Scott’s work, even owning his sneakers.
There is now speculation that Travis Scott may return to WWE later this year, possibly teaming with John Cena and Logan Paul in a tag match.
