Metro Boomin Lists Jadakiss Among His Dream Collabs After Landing Nas For 'Spider-Verse'

Working with Nas on the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse album allowed Metro Boomin to accomplish one of his life goals, and he now has Jadakiss on his radar.

In an interview with EBONY that was made public on Tuesday (July 25), the acclaimed producer included 50 Cent, JAY-Z, and Snoop Dogg in addition to Kiss as some of his other ideal collaborations.

When asked whether a Nas or Hov feature ranked higher for him, Metro responded, “Man, I would love to collaborate with both of them. “I’ve made a big list of all the folks I’d adore working with. The Spider-Verse project was the first time I had the opportunity to collaborate with Nas. My mother adored him and used to play his music nonstop. So when I was younger, I would go out and get his records.

But as for other ideal collaborations, guy, Jadakiss, 50, Snoop, he continued. Since I don’t want to leave anyone out, I’m not going to continue.

Metro Boomin had a tiny cameo in the new Spider-verse movie, which he was finally able to see last month. He also created the soundtrack for the film.

There is nowhere to run, Spidey Metro tells Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) as he flees a group of Spider-Men from different times in the multiverse. Morales then flies out the window, and after an awkward pause, Metro turns around and apologizes to everyone, saying, “My bad everybody, there was somewhere to run.”

Future, Lil Uzi Vert, J.I.D, Nas, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, Offset, 2 Chainz, Swae Lee, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Nav, Don Toliver, Coi Leray, Wizkid, James Blake, and others make appearances on the soundtrack, which Metro Boomin was originally chosen to produce back in December.

Everyone will be watching Boominati’s CEO to see if the initiative can live up to the anticipation created by its predecessor. The hit song “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee, which was certified diamond in 2021 and crossed the record books as the joint-highest-certified single in RIAA history last November, was born from the initial Spider-Verse soundtrack.
