It’s been a monumental year for Megan Thee Stallion. The Houston rapper embarked on her Hot Girl Summer tour, dropped her third studio album Megan, and showed no signs of slowing down. Last month, she gave fans a glimpse of what’s next with a teaser for her upcoming project, Megan: Act 2.
Since then, Megan has been offering small hints about what’s to come. Earlier this week, she took to Twitter/X to build anticipation, declaring that she plans to release the “hardest mixtape of 2024.” While she has yet to reveal an official release date, the teaser has fans eagerly awaiting the drop of Act 2 later this year.
In addition to her bold mixtape claim, Megan also hinted at exciting collaborations. One standout moment came when fellow Southern rapper GloRilla asked for her mix, to which Megan responded, “I just approved your mix.” The two have worked together before, as GloRilla supported Megan on her summer tour and featured her on the track “Wanna Be.” Fans are eager to see what this dynamic duo has in store next.
Just a few days earlier, Megan previewed a new, unnamed track on social media, writing, “Almost done working hotties brb [butterfly emoji] (the song is not out yet).” As for Megan: Act 2, it remains unclear whether the project will serve as a standalone mixtape or perhaps a deluxe version of her album Megan.
