Megan Thee Stallion has announced a new swimwear brand, Hot Girl Summer, created in partnership with Walmart. The line, designed by Megan herself, will debut on May 19. It features 18 swimwear pieces in a range of sizes and will be sold at nearly 500 Walmart stores, Walmart.com, and her official website.
The collection includes bikinis, monokinis, one-piece suits, and cover-ups in colors like purple, gold, black, orange, and pink. Megan said the idea stemmed from her love of beaches and pools and her desire to offer body-inclusive designs.
“I used to shop at Walmart growing up,” she said in a statement. “So it’s a full circle moment to have my own line there.” Walmart’s SVP of Women’s Group, Ryan Waymire, called Megan a symbol of confidence and individuality.
Megan is the first hip-hop artist to launch her own swimwear brand. The launch arrives as her attorney, Alex Spiro, responded to renewed claims from Tory Lanez’s legal team about his 2020 conviction, reaffirming the court’s decision.
