Meek Mill Shares a Freestyle to Ice Spice's Hugely Popular Song "Munch"

Ice Spice’s meteoric ascension is sweeping the rap scene, as the Bronx native has exploded into the public eye thanks to the success of her viral single “Munch.”

The New York drill anthem has had 2.4 billion social media views since its August release, debuting at No. 34 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.

Meek Mill gave Ice Spice his support over the weekend by posting a teaser of an unreleased freestyle over “Munch” on social media.

Meek is not the only well-known rapper to hint at a remix of Ice Spice’s hit song. Cardi B shared a video of herself rapping over the Riotusa-produced song earlier this month on Instagram.

Cardi insisted that there won’t be an official release of the unofficial remix shortly after teasering it.

She tweeted, “I’m not putting that music out by the way. I don’t tease, as you well know.

Meek, a Philadelphia rapper, hasn’t said if he’ll formally release a remix of “Munch,” but he did reveal on Monday that Flamerz 5 will be available in two weeks.

In the meantime, Meek will perform a special homecoming event at the Wells Fargo Center on November 26 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares. This Wednesday at 10 a.m. on WellsFargoCenterPhilly.com, tickets for Meek Mill + Friends Dreams and Nightmares 10-Year Anniversary performance will go on sale.
