The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is spotlighting rider creativity with its ongoing #FanFavoriteFriday social media series.
In a recent post, the MBTA featured a painting depicting the iconic view from the Longfellow Bridge, a familiar sight for Red Line commuters traveling between Boston and Cambridge. The artwork was created by Angelo Janey of gallery.acj, who was credited in the post.
“This painting takes our iconic view from the Longfellow Bridge to the next level,” the MBTA wrote.
As part of the weekly series, the MBTA invites riders to share their own photos, videos, or artwork featuring the transit system.
“Fan Favorite Friday! Every Friday, we like to highlight some of our favorite #MBTA posts created by our riders,” the caption read.
“Want your chance to be featured? Be sure to tag us in your post, and we’ll DM you the details.”
Riders can participate by tagging the MBTA on social media using the hashtag #MBTA.
