The announcement arrived on Instagram, confirming a January 9, 2026 release date. The Coke Wave series holds a central place in both artists’ catalogs, beginning with the first installment in February 2009 and the follow-up in November of the same year. While the long-rumored third chapter never materialized, the pair released Coke Wave 4 in 2019, making this new installment a return to unfinished business.
It remains to be seen whether Coke Wave 3.5 will include new collaborators, shift the sound of earlier projects, or revisit the signature style Max and French crafted over a decade ago.
