Massachusetts collective Mass EFX has rolled out a new single, “Mass to the World,” recruiting vocalist Novian Wright and rappers Clark D and Jo Saza for what the platform is calling “an anthem… a spark… something that feels like home.”
According to Mass EFX’s announcement, the brief began last September with a simple ask: create a track that sounds like Massachusetts. Novian Wright returned with a demo that not only fit the brief but, in Mass EFX’s words, “blew past it,” then enlisted Clark D and Jo Saza to push the record into full‑cipher mode. Produced by JJ LUNDIN, the cut blends the artist’s styles, packaging state‑pride into a three‑minute rally cry.
The collective framed the collaboration as more mission statement than single: a showcase of the region’s range and a reminder that, in their words, “Mass got it.” While no larger project has been announced, the post hints that the song is only “the seed” and that a broader, “monumental” vision is still to come.
