Since Pharrell Williams joined Louis Vuitton, the brand has leaned further into music-inspired designs. For the Spring 2025 season, Louis Vuitton is drawing from the past, transforming vintage music technology into high-end accessories that blend nostalgia with luxury craftsmanship.
One of the standout pieces is an iPod-inspired crossbody bag, resembling a mini version of LV’s Amazone bag. Made of leather, the bag features a small window designed to look like an iPod screen, displaying a power bar, a play button, and the text “Louis Vuitton Collection Spring 2025” in place of a song title. The LV monogram is placed where the iPod’s scroll wheel would be, and the time stamp “18:54” references the brand’s founding year. The zipper pulls are designed as gold headphones tied together, adding a musical touch.
The collection also includes a cassette player-shaped wearable wallet with embossed pause, play, fast forward, and rewind buttons. Another accessory is a cassette tape cardholder, designed with “Side A” and “Side B” graphics similar to an actual cassette. The interior features a headphone illustration with the LV logo as a subtle detail.
