On Tuesday, Yachty posted on social media that he will be hosting open auditions for an all-women band this Thursday.
According to posts he made on Twitter and Instagram, the rapper from Georgia is seeking “2-3 backing singers” to join a guitarist, a bass player, a drummer, and a keyboard player. Additionally, Yachty made sure to specify that all applicants must supply their own guitar and bass; however, instruments for the drums and keyboards will be given.
Yachty made sure to emphasize that he is only seeking female musicians to complete the band. Putting together a female band, come to the auditions on Thursday,”
Lithonia, Georgia, will be the location of the auditions. The tweet includes the address.
