Lil Uzi Vert has made his Xbox Gamertag public and urged fans to join him in playing the most recent Call of Duty.
Uzi declared that he would most likely stay home and play video games after the Grammys on Sunday, February 5, when he made an appearance on the red carpet.
“Actually I’m probably just gonna go in the crib and play some video games,” he said. “Eat some Pop Tarts, Gushers. I’ve been playing a lot of COD. I got some friends on COD that I’ve been connecting with. I’ve been playing a lot of COD. I just got back on Fortnite.”
He continued, “I’ll be there. My username is UziiiiiiiPink like seven ‘I’s’ though.”
The major announcement follows Uzi’s appearance on stage at the extensive Hip Hop 50 Tribute concert that night at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, which was organized by Questlove. Black Thought and The Roots opened the performance before Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Run-DMC, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Public Enemy, Rakim, Method Man, Missy Elliott, and other pioneers of Hip Hop hit the stage. Uzi performed “Just Wanna Rock,” his current Jersey Club song.
