Lil Kim has had a number of lives throughout her lengthy and illustrious career, and now she’s said she’ll be telling them all in her upcoming memoir.
The Queen Bee announced on Monday (July 31) that the publisher had finally received the manuscript for her upcoming memoir, appropriately titled The Queen Bee, by posting a picture of it online.
It’s been a long voyage, beehive, but edits are now finished, she wrote with a raised hand emoji. I appreciate my best friend and dearest mate @themarcjacobs completing my forward.
The Queen Bee will be published in September 2025, according to a press statement from the publisher, Hachette Books, a branch of Hachette Livre, the third-largest publisher in the world and the biggest publisher in France. The Queen Bee also features a foreword by Marc Jacobs and was co-written by veteran music writer Kathy Iandoli.
According to a press release, the book will go into detail about “her complex high-profile relationships, the misogynistic industry she fought to change through sex positivity, the difficult double standards of self-image and beauty in the spotlight, and the momentous act of loyalty that ultimately landed her in prison.”
