Lil Durk Co-Signs Fan’s ‘history’-Making ‘almost Healed’ Tattoo

Fans of Lil Durk are overjoyed that his new album Almost Healed is now available, and one fan has gone over and above to express his gratitude by getting a tattoo of the album’s cover art.

Durkio shared the fan’s new tattoo on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 30. It includes the cover of the book on his forearm as well as some lettering.

Durk captioned the image with “he made history,” likely in reference to the fact that they were the first person to get the album tattooed on them, praising the ink.

The Friday (May 26) release of Almost Healed is anticipated to sell between 125,000 and 150,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

With those numbers, the project is anticipated to have the biggest debut of the week at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

With seven of the top 10 slots on Apple Music’s U.S. chart and more than 41.5 million streams on Spotify, almost Healed has already established a strong presence on streaming services. This is more than double Durk’s previous high.

Aside from 2020’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” with Drake, which also peaked at No. 2, Durkio’s “All My Life” duet with J. Cole recently debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his joint highest-charting track.

For comparison, Lil Durk’s most recent album, 7220, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and garnered 120,500 album-equivalent units in its first week in 2022. The Voice of the Heroes, Durk and Lil Baby’s collaborative album from 2021, peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 and amassed 150,000 first-week copies.

In honor of the new initiative, Durk and his “family” Morgan Wallen appeared to be starting a new hobby.

Durk and the country singer looked to be dressed in camouflage in a post made to the rapper’s Instagram on Sunday (May 28), showing off a brand-new catch they had caught while fishing in Wallen’s native Tennessee.

“Family is family can’t nothing change that p.s. I’m done wit fish,” Smurk added in his caption.

Wallen joked in the caption of a photo of their fishing trip: “Durk done pulled up and taught me how to fish,” and Durk responded: “Family energy.”
