The first full week sales projections for Lil Baby’s latest project, The Leaks, are in. According to Kurrco, the project is expected to move 34,000 units in its first complete tracking week, which would place it at No. 17 on the Billboard 200. The release arrived on Wednesday, December 3, giving it only one day of tracking for its opening frame, where it debuted at No. 150 after moving 11,000 units.
The Leaks originally had a planned September release before being delayed without a new date. Leading up to its unexpected December drop, Baby ran his “Wham Wednesdays” series, releasing a new track each week, including “Try to Love,” “Otha Boy,” “Real Sh*t,” and “Middle of the Summer.” The project ultimately arrived on his 31st birthday, which he highlighted on Instagram, thanking the people responsible for previous leaks and framing the tape as a celebration.
The tracklist brings together a wide group of collaborators, featuring appearances from Playboi Carti, Skooly, Lil Yachty, Lucki, Veeze, Young Thug, Rylo Rodriguez, Bino Rideaux, and G Herbo. Production comes from June the Genius, Wheezy, Frankie Bash, Murda Beatz, TM88, and others.

One of the more notable updates on the final version is Young Thug’s decision to remove references to Gunna from the song “Superman.” A leaked version previously included a diss aimed at Gunna, whom Thug has distanced himself from since Gunna entered a plea deal in the 2022 YSL RICO case. The revised track reflects the continued tension between the former collaborators as The Leaks completes its official rollout.
