The first round of the Legends Section competition has officially wrapped, narrowing a field of 16 artists down to eight who will move forward in the battle for a $3,000 prize. Held on March 13 at The Vault, the event featured performances from emerging talents, each vying to secure their spot in the next stage.
A panel of judges—including Turntable Teachers, Say That Podcast, Show and Tell Boston, Noble (Museum TV), Nicole (SoundLab), and Boston’s Big Four—evaluated the performances, making difficult calls to determine who would advance. With visuals from Round 1 now under the spotlight, Mass Effect Media took to Instagram to announce the results.
“Round 1 is a wrap—signed, sealed & delivered!” the post read. “The judges had to make some tough calls, but the Final 8 are locked in and ready to battle for that $3K bag!”
